Most of us couldn’t care less about a Roku device’s IP address because it’s not required to use the media streamer.

This detail, however, is critical when attempting to resolve connection issues.

All you need to do with a functional Roku device is navigate through the menus, as the IP address is hidden behind one of the stacks of options.

Find Roku IP address with your remote

1. Access the main menu of Roku on the TV screen, and then select Settings. It’s located at the bottom, below ‘Streaming Channels’.
2. There are many options listed under the category, but you’re going to go with ‘Network’ this time.
3. Select it to expand all the choices on the right-hand side, click on ‘about’.

4. Go to ‘Settings’, you’d see a range of tools.
